The Canterbury Sled Dog Club is proud to announce the Double Banger 2024 dryland race weekend.
Saturday will be run as typical Double Banger and eligible for trophies
Sunday is offering something a little more social.

7:00am Chaney's Forest Gate Open and optional Trail Viewing
7:00am Vehicle Check - Those without CSDC vehicle permits will be issued permits from this time onwards
7.20am Chaney's Forest Gate Locked, please collect bibs and musher packs before the mushers meeting
7.30am Mushers meeting
7:55am Races start, race order as follows;

BIB DRAW & MUSHERS MEETING
The Bib Draw for Day 1 will be a virtual bib draw, bibs need to be collected along with musher packs on Saturday morning before the race. These will be located on the table under the marquee.
Bib draw for Day 2 will be conducted at the compulsory mushers meeting

RELAY RACE INFORMATION

You may enter a complete team (1 dog & 2 dog) as a pair or with just one musher running twice if you are up for it!

If you are not entering as a complete team we can pair you up with someone

The order in which classes within the teams start is subject to entry numbers

Once the first musher in your team crosses the finish line, that is considered handover and the second musher may start.
* Open Scooter is a maximum of 2 dogs (1 & 2 dog together)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Dog Age
All dogs must be:

12 months or older to compete in rig and scooter races.

18 months or older to compete in bikejor and canicross races.
Musher Age
Mushers must be:

16 years or older to compete in bikejor.

11 years or older to compete in canicross.
